What does Boxfit mean?
It is based on boxing training and includes jumping, boxing exercises including leg and abdominal exercises, with a focus on fitness and muscle building. However, I think and many would agree that Boxfit is suitable for every fitness level and there should never be a problem taking a break or slowing down. Classes can take on a variety of formats, but a typical format may include shadow boxing, skipping, punching, punching bags, push-ups, shuttle runs, and sit-ups. It is based on the training used in boxing and includes jumping, boxing exercises including footwork and abdominal training — all focused on fitness and muscle building.

What do you do in Box Fit?
With various boxing training methods, you can really improve your game and take on the challenges that entails, from padwork to strengthening your core muscles. Boxfit is an endurance workout that is based on boxing training. It includes jumping, boxing exercises including footwork and abdominal exercises — all focused on fitness and muscle building. The boxfit classes I took at the time of writing took place in Dublin with Urban Fit Crew. I found the instructors encouraging, the classes were a nice size and the workouts were fun.
