I love movement. In addition to my asana practice, I’m training Brazilian jiu-jitsu and recently certified as an FRC mobility specialist. Since then, she has completed a one-year yoga teacher training course developed by Christina Brown, founder of Transform, as well as several other courses in which she explored all the trends and paths of yoga. Lauren completed an advanced diploma in health and yoga over 4 years at Nature Care College under the guidance of Mark Breadner and many other internationally renowned teachers. Transform works closely with the Aerial Fitness Institute and offers high-quality certifications for aerial yoga teacher training and aerial Pilates teacher training.

This prompted me to specialize in teaching aerial yoga to expand my personal discovery and share the love I feel for this form with others.
How do you teach aerial yoga?
While the certification has no effect on flight studio insurance, if you complete 200 hours of training in your aerial photography or other popular fitness certification program, you can insure yourself as an instructor at a discounted price. If you’re already a qualified yoga teacher, learn the art of aerial yoga and expand your studio’s current schedule.
Who can’t do aerial yoga?
A contraindication to aerial yoga is a specific situation in which aerial yoga is NOT recommended as it could be hazardous to health. If you were struggling with yoga poses and thought that aerial yoga would make those poses easier, then assisted stretching could be your way of working out. Practicing aerial yoga while pregnant is also not safe, and people with high blood pressure or heart problems should also stay away. A lot of what I’m taught in aerial yoga classes are tricks or forms that really don’t even come close to resembling yoga poses.
I’ll settle for a hammock if there’s no aerial dance, but I won’t be happy that I can’t make 80% of my favorite drops.
